This project in collaboration between Groupe Inten6t and Endorphin Cycling & Triathlon aims to support research for breast cancer, which in 2020 affects one in eight women.
Myriam Bureau, a survivor and currently undergoing treatment, created this collection during her journey to encourage herself to keep moving and to inspire other women who, like her, are currently fighting this cancer.
Sophie Dagenais, survivor of cancer in 2017, and who has continued to move despite her diagnosis, and is now doing wonderfully, joined Myriam as an ambassador for the project.
Both very active, Myriam and Sophie believe that physical activity counts for a lot, not only to decrease the chances of recurrence, but also to improve the quality of life of the patients and to decrease the side effects caused by chemotherapy, radiotherapy and hormonotherapy. They both wanted to share a message of hope and support this cause by offering a technical garment for cycling, triathlon and running, as well as being adapted for all sports activities. Maybe even a garment for women’s sports teams…who knows?
Endorphin wanted to get involved by supporting this initiative and thus support this important cause, as 50% of the sale price of each garment sold will be given back to breast cancer research.
